The Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Inc. (GCRA) announced its January installment of Charleston Restaurant Week, occurring for 18 days from Wednesday, January 4 through Sunday, January 22. One of the most highly anticipated culinary events of the season, patrons are invited to taste and savor the world-renowned cuisine of the Lowcountry with prix fixe lunch and dinner menus.
“We are excited to kick off 2017 in Charleston with 18 days of delicious dining for an incredible value,” shares Greater Charleston Restaurant Association Secretary/Treasurer Athan Fokas. “Each year we have a collection of new participating restaurants and a growing variety of innovative menu offerings for guests to experience some of the best cuisine the city has to offer.”
Over 140 restaurants participate in Charleston Restaurant Week twice a year (both in September and January) including favorites such as Poogan’s Porch, Slightly North of Broad and Indaco. Newcomers to January Restaurant Week include Lotus Vietnamese Cuisine, The Watch and soon-to-open Pawpaw, among others.
Charleston Restaurant Week now includes the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association’s (SCRLA) installment of Restaurant Week Carolina, set from January 12-22.
