That Holiday Book Sale set for December 2 & 3

Looking for some extra stocking stuffers this Christmas? Shopping for Kwanzaa or a New Year's Party? Come shop the Charleston Friends of the Library Holiday Book Sale, and support your library system for the holidays. ‘That Holiday Book Sale’ is set for Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library, 1133 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, 29464.

Books, DVDs, and CDs, will be available with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, classics, large print, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics. Children’s books start at just $0.50 each.

The Charleston Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money through book sales to help fund Library services, equipment, training, materials and public programming. The Friends collect and sort donated books for resale to raise money. That Holiday Book Sale is one of five book sales held throughout the year by the Friends.

In addition to great deals on books, DVDs, and CDs, come shop our Holiday Book Sale for the perfect book lover ornaments. These lovely ornaments are priced at $10, and are made from books rescued from the recycling bin.

Admission is free both Friday and Saturday. A special Member Event for Friends of the Library members will be held on the evening of Thursday, December 1st from 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
