After a successful Spring tour, where Chaquis was well received at Mobile, Alabama's South Sounds Festival, Raleigh's Live and Local Earth Day, Charleston County's Earth Day Celebration, and Greenville, SC's Artisphere, and debut live performance on Your Carolina.

Maliq has promised to keep her tour southern, while she completes her upcoming music project. With many Summer dates, which included a music therapy concert at Washington D.C.'s St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and working with summer campers of Engaging Creative Minds S.T.E.A.M. Camp; the 1 Woman Band continued her Keepin' It Southern Tour as she closed out the Summer with Wilmington's Riverfront Downtown Market and Charlotte's Common Market.

Maliq's mission to heal and inspire through her music, extends her ambition to bring awareness and an end to violence against women. Chaquis has mentored teens, and young adults as groups during her career, providing self-esteem, motivation boosts, and entrepreneurial blueprints in her interactive speeches. With her full heart, Chaquis will give a Anti-Violence Speech for the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Fundraiser, October 15th, in North Charleston.

Chaquis is kicking off the Fall portion of her Keepin' It Southern Tour with venues that have never before experienced the 1 Woman Band. The first stop is Thursday Night Acoustic at The Eclectic Cafe & Vinyl, September 22nd, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The following dates include MOJA Arts Festival : Heritage Day October 1st, at 1:00 pm,
West Ashley Farmers Market October 5th, at 4:00 pm, Mebane, NC's AutumnFest October 8th, Walk A Mile In Her Shoes (Speaker and Performer) October 15th, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am - Park Circle, and Midweek Matinee at Petra's of Charlotte, NC November 9th, 8:00pm.

Chaquis Maliq performs original compositions live, without looping sounds, but authentically singing playing the guitar, playing the cajon, and foot instruments; defining the EccentroSoul 1 Woman Band.
