The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) invites grandparents in the Charleston area to celebrate National Grandparents Day at the Children's Museum with free admission. All grandparents will receive free admission to CML on Sunday, September 11, 2016, from 12pm until 5pm.
"National Grandparents Day is focused on honoring grandmothers and grandfathers and giving them the opportunity to make memories with their grandchildren. Here at CML, we want to encourage grandparents to spend time playing with their grandchildren all year long, but especially on their very own holiday," Nichole Myles, CML's Executive Director, said. "We invite the whole family to come out and celebrate!"
Grandparents and their grandchildren will have plenty of play to choose from at CML. Grandchildren can paint a family portrait to commemorate the day in the Art Room. Make it a family affair in WaterWise, an exhibit all about water, filled with rapids to maneuver and boats to race! No pre-registration is needed for grandparents to receive free admission this Sunday. All grown-ups must be accompanied by a child for entrance to CML.
CML also celebrates grandparents year-round by offering them a special membership package: a Grandparent Membership, $75 per year, includes unlimited admission to the Museum for two grandparents and all of their grandchildren.
