Two of the Lowcountry’s NFL players, Andre and Bruce Ellington, will host the Ellington Elite Youth Football Camp on Saturday, June 11 in Moncks Corner.
This one-day camp will provide youth, ages 6-16, with professional football instruction and access to information and resources regarding health and wellness.
The Ellington Elite Youth Camp will take place at the Berkeley High School Stadium. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the program runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by lunch and an autograph session for the campers.

Every participant and their families will have the opportunity to participate in the following for free:
- Concussion awareness and proper tackling techniques
- Mentoring breakout sessions
- Anti-drug and violence sessions
- Preventative medical screenings for diabetes, vision, blood pressure and BMI
- Health and wellness discussion groups
- One-on-one nutritional consultations
- Healthy cooking tutorials
Andre Ellington is a running back for the Arizona Cardinals. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he led the NFL in yards per carry for the 2013 season. Ellington was the fourth leading rusher in Clemson’s history and one of four players in Clemson history to rush for 1,000 yards twice in a career. He is also a two-time All-ACC Selection.
Bruce Ellington is a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Bruce scored 3 touchdowns, and saw action as a return man. At South Carolina, Ellington was a two sport standout. In 39 games with the Gamecocks, he had 106 receptions for 1,586 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was a 2013 First Team All-SEC Selection, an Academic All Conference pick and graduated in 3.5 years.
