Everyone is invited to enjoy all of the play with none of the pay during Customer Appreciation Day at Charleston County Parks! On Sunday, March 6, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) says “thank you” to its regular and first-time visitors by offering free gate admission to many popular park facilities.

Parks waiving admission fees on March 6 will include Ravenel Caw Caw Interpretive Center, North Charleston Wannamaker, Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands and James Island County Parks. Free parking will be offered all day at Kiawah Beachwalker Park, Isle of Palms County Park, and Folly Beach County Park, as well as free fishing at the Folly Beach Pier and the Mount Pleasant Pier! Plus, the public is invited to come explore two of Charleston County Parks’ newest properties – Laurel Hill County Park in Mount Pleasant and McLeod Plantation Historic Site on James Island – which will be open for free on March 6 as well.

Accept the invitation for a fun-filled day of adventure with no admission fees. For people who have never visited the county parks, this is a great opportunity to explore them for free! Whisk the family away to palmetto-lined vistas, savor a picnic lunch along tidal creeks, or stroll leisurely on self-guided nature trails at your Charleston County Parks. Select parks will also offer free activities March 6.

While in the parks on March 6, visitors can also
register for a chance to win a Charleston County Parks’ Gold Pass membership. (Register on site at the parks listed above, except Laurel Hill.) A great family value, a Charleston County Parks’ Gold Pass affords vehicle gate admission into 10 park facilities and many special events for a full year.

For more information, including hours of operation and directions to the parks, call 843-795-4386, download the Charleston County Parks mobile app, or visit www.charlestoncountyparks.com.
