Do you or your friends have good stuff that you don’t really need sitting around at home or work?
If so, CharlestonGOOD's upcoming SHARE FAIR presents a unique opportunity to share and re-home stuff this holiday season. It’s good for the planet and good for our spirits, so why not find a way to be a part of it?
SHARE FAIRS are free "drop-in" community events focused on giving, getting, and gratitude. Think of them like big garage sale where everything is FREE. And unlike donations made to a thrift store, SHARE FAIRS give you the opportunity to be a part of a community exchange as it happens.
The rules of the event are simple.
- Bring stuff to re-home that you think someone would actually want.
- Get some nice used stuff for free if you like.
- Be grateful.
There will be space set up to share clothes, home furnishings, books, and more. There will also be live music and food for purchase from a host of vendors including A Taste of Gullah Cuisine, The Charleston Crunch Co., Fresh Future Farm, and celebrated author and chef, Kimberly Brock Brown.
How to Participate
Gather items to share and spread the word!
You can bring donations with you to the event, or contact CharlestonGOOD to arrange pick-up if you are unable to attend.
