ASPCA Mega Match-a-Thon Saves Over 330 Animals |

The community response to the 2015 ASPCA Mega-match-a-thon presented by Subaru (October 23 - October 26) was overwhelming, with 333 animals placed into new, loving homes.
“The flood from earlier this month created so many challenges for area shelters, that the timing of the ASPCA Mega-Match-a-Thon couldn’t have been better,” said Charleston Animal Society CEO, Joe Elmore, “Charleston Animal Society also provided aid to several area shelters before and during the event, including fundraising support, animal transport, food, veterinarian support and medicine.”
The adoption rate was 3.4 animals every hour for the duration of the four-day Mega Match-a-Thon. Shelters from Charleston, Dorchester and Georgetown Counties teamed up to save lives:
