“With the USC women’s basketball team winning the NCAA Championship, the arrival of the Carolina Stars couldn’t come at a better time! South Carolina has always been known as a football state but now Dawn Staley and Frank Martin have changed that. Basketball in South Carolina has a bright future and the Carolina Stars are looking forward to being a part of that future." - Owner, Shamona Nelson
