The Charleston RiverDogs have partnered with Palmetto Goodwill to host several Hire Me! events in January and February to fill more than 220 game day positions for the upcoming 2017 season.

During the first two hiring events, the RiverDogs will aim to fill front and back of the house positions that will help run the stadium’s restaurants and concessions including cooks, cashiers, runners and more. With a variety of unique food options for fans to enjoy, the stadium is looking to fill numerous fun and rewarding positions. Try your hand as a beer shake maker, become a gourmet hot dog builder or get your fry on whipping up funnel cakes and deep-fried Oreos.

Date:
Friday, January 20

Location: Palmetto Goodwill Community Service Center (2150 Eagle Drive in North Charleston)

Time: 9 a.m.

Date: Saturday, January 21

Location: Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park (360 Fishburne St. in downtown Charleston)

Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

A third event will be held in February to fill all remaining game day positions including ushers, parking attendants, ticketing, merchandise, customer service, clean-up crew, and any remaining food service openings. And, if you have what it takes, you can possibly be the next Charlie T. RiverDog team mascot!

Date: Saturday, February 25

Location: Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park (360 Fishburne St. in downtown Charleston)
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Pay rates range from $8 – $15 per hour, depending on experience. Those interested in attending any of the above eventsMUST register by sending an email to HireMe@PalmettoGoodwill.org with RiverDogs in the subject line. Hiring managers will be on-site conducting interviews, with job offers being made on the spot to qualified candidates. Interviewees should dress professionally and bring all documentation required for hire including list of references, official identification and social security card or birth certificate.

The RiverDogs open the 2017 season on Thursday, April 6 as they welcome the Lexington Legends to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
